Wendy Habert, MBA, PHR, CCHP

National Commission on Correctional Health Care

Wendy Habert is NCCHC's Director of Accreditation. Ms. Habert was previously employed as a sworn deputy sheriff, health services administrator, and director of compliance overseeing health care services in one of Colorado's largest jails. She also served as a regional director of operations for a national correctional health services vendor where she managed the contracts and oversaw the care delivered at eight correctional facilities. She advised correctional facilities across the country on accreditation and medication-assisted treatment programs. Ms. Habert has a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
